Great games often have great music and you could easily make the case that Hans Zimmer, the man behind the driving scores heard in some major Hollywood blockbusters including The Dark Knight and Inception, is a solid choice to pump up a game’s musical score. That’s exactly what’s happening with Crysis 2. While most of Crysis 2’s sound track was scored by Borislav Slavov and Tilman Sillescu, Hans Zimmer was brought in by EA to add a finishing touch to the game‘s acoustics. And, like the good publisher they are, they felt the need to trumpet this fact to the masses at the near-eve of Crysis 2’s launch along with a sample bit that can be heard through the link provided below.
Crysis 2 will be hitting the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC this March 22nd.
