The creators of the PlayStation 3-exclusive MAG think the PlayStation Network is a much more mature crowd than Xbox Live, and the latter attracts more smack talk. MAG “definitely fits more” to the PlayStation audience “because of the things that are being said over Xbox Live,” said Zipper Interactive’s Ben Jones.
“I actually consider Xbox Live the more juvenile of the two,” explained Jones, citing the main problem being “the things that are being said over Xbox Live.”
“Each service has its own posse,” Jones told GamerZines. “I think the PlayStation audience definitely fits more to our game.
“As we saw in the beta, we’ve got an audience that’s willing to communicate and willing to organise and structure, and help other people to play the game. That’s the most remarkable thing that I saw in the beta — random people helping other players along to try and familiarize themselves with this really cool experience.”
I’m not entirely sure if I can back this statement. From my experience, both services are equally immature. I played MAG, and there were plenty of d-bags. Maybe I just have bad luck. What do you think?
