While some of the thunder was lost due to an early leak, Cliffy B's big reveal of Gears of War 3 on the Jimmy Fallon show last night still had plenty of pomp and circumstance going for it, thanks in part to the over one minute teaser debuted on the show.

From the teaser we can gather that the war with the locust is still in full swing. This time around there will be beards, tall tentacle like monsters, and a bit of feminine brutality. All and all, it's Gears of War. More Gears of War.

Since the teasers debute some other noteworthy nuggets have been made known. Gear 3 will feature story oriented four player co-op. Since much of Gears's past merits have lied in its excellent cooperative play this is nothing but good news. In addition an official release date of April 5th for North America and Asia, 7th for Japan, and 8th for everyone else has been provided by Microsoft.

Let the one years worth of hype commence.

The first batch of screens for the new Medal of Honor went out today, and to much dismay, they lack the facial hair we've been accustomed to with the game's cover. Shame, EA, but this also gives me an excuse to link the new Internet sensation, epic beard man.

Nevertheless, the screens look pretty hot. Check 'em out below.

Medal of Honor

This month's Game Informer has a huge feature on Team Bondi's L.A. Noire, but the mag also scored the first official online screenshots for the game.

L.A. Noire is releasing this September for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Peter Molyneux has been talking up a storm about all the innovative features and gameplay elements Fable III is going to bring to the industry, and now Microsoft has gone ahead and released the first batch of screen shots for your viewing pleasure. There seems to be a darker, grittier feel to the game, full of fatherly pirates, guns, swords, and a possible return of your canine companion. Hit the jump for the full array of shots.

The first screenshots of Shattered Horizon's upcoming Moonrise DLC pack have released today. Moonrise adds four new maps to the game, which are pictured in the screenshots below. Futuremark isn't giving a release date for the pack just yet, but they did note "the work is almost complete and we will have more details for you soon."

John Marston is a cowboy. We have proof in the form of these new Red Dead Redemption screens. Horse or man, it doesn't matter, Marston will hogtie your ass. But it's not just for your amusement (or maybe it is), there are wild horses throughout the world which you can lasso and ride, or gamers can lay down the law by roping their victims. Either way, there's plenty of cowboy stuff to do in Rockstar's upcoming title. Check out the shots after the jump.

Warner Bros. has slated Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 for a May release. The confirmation comes in the form of a new trailer, showcasing year two,  released today.

It's been way too long since we last received some new Diablo III assets, but today's our lucky day. A fresh, and rather substantial, batch of screens went out from Blizzard's finest, and, as usual, it looks brilliant.

There's plenty of hell to be had in Diablo III, but you'll have to wait. It's not out for a long time, not even before 2011. At least we've got Torchlight to hold us over, and it won't be too long before we're frying our brains with StarCraft II. Just be patient, young one.

Diablo III

The latest issue of PCGames Magazine has revealed the first in-game shots of Crysis 2. Unfortunately, the mag is all in Germanish, so there's not much we can say in terms of actual gameplay. That said, if you're like us, you'll probably just want stare at the glorious screenshots. If that's the case, click here. In case you forgot, Crysis 2 takes place in the big ole concrete jungle that is New York City.

For us English speakers, PlayStation: The Official Magazine will be featuring Crytek's new game in its next issue, so until then, hang tight or get yourself a German.
