At the beginning of this month, Platinum Games teased us with a countdown for the unveiling of its new title. It looks like we're finally going to find out just what it is this week. Geoff Keighley, being the host of GameTrailers TV, is privy to some inside information, and he made the announcement for the announcement today via Twitter.
"This week on GTTV -- global announcement of next title from Platinum Games inside the show!" he wrote.
Not only will it be announced, but GTTV will also be showing the game's trailer. The show airs on Spike TV, so stay tuned!

If you change the W to a B for the word "Witch", you will find this review more comical, and entirely true.
So take this witch Bayonetta. She's got guns for heels, a faux British accent, she's voluptuous (and titular, according to every journalist who's seen her. WE GOT THE PUN IN 08!), and her hair plays the role of clothes and ultimate weapon. Besides the complete seductive nature of this playful and fairly tall witch, what's to like? Fast paced Japanese-style hack and slash gameplay.

Just as the new year started, Platinum Games launched a mysterious countdown on its website. It appears that it is counting down to January 8, but more important is what it is counting down to? The answer to that question is unclear at this point, but speculation points to a new game announcement. As much as I love mysterious countdowns, it's something I'm kind of getting tired of. Thankfully, the wait should only be four days.
