Microsoft Game Studios' Ken Lobb (of Klobb fame) confirmed to Kotaku that the XBLA port of Perfect Dark will contain weapons and maps from the N64 classic Goldeneye 007. As for the maps, we can confirm that Felicity, Temple and Complex, which were in the original Perfect Dark, will be making a return. The weapons from the first game will be named different due to potential legal issues, even though Rare created both.
Microsoft confirmed the release date for a number of key XBLA titles as well as its Game Room service as part of its XBL House Party promotion next month. The much-anticipated Perfect Dark remake will be dropping March 17, while Game Room will launch the next week on March 24. Toy Soldiers is hitting March 3 and Scrap Metal, March 10.

We learned at X10 yesterday that Rare's Perfect Dark XBLA port will be releasing next month. We've also learned today what price will be for the game. It will sell for 800 MS Points or $10, a pretty reasonable price I must say.
The game features improved textures and character models, and it runs at a crisp 60 FPS. Most important, it features 8-player online multiplayer.
As the announcements keep rolling in from X10, it's now been revealed that Rare's Perfect Dark XBLA port will be releasing this March. Also releasing in March alongside Perfect Dark will be Microsoft's Game Room, the XBLA game Scrap Metal, and Toy Soldiers.
According to a report by ElectronicTheatre, the Xbox Live Arcade port of Perfect Dark is "pretty much finished" and could be releasing as early as "the last week of January" or early February.
"The work is pretty much finished…as far as I'm aware, the conversion has been complete for some time now." said an unnamed source close to the project. "We're expecting a release very soon, there's been talk that the game would launch in either the last week of January or beginning of February."
A user by the name of KholdFuzion has leaked a video, screenshots, and details on co-op and multiplayer for the XBLA port of Perfect Dark. Supposedly, the game will feature co-op and 8-player online multiplayer. Check out the video below and the screenshots after the jump.
Rare released another screenshot for its upcoming XBLA port for Perfect Dark. The company wrote on its Twitter, "Flaky replication server halted yesterday's update, so here it is, last PD shot of this batch, view from dataDyne rooftop" (see above image).
The game is expected to release in "early 2010." Here are some more screenshots from it:
Rare confirmed today that Perfect Dark XBLA will be released in early 2010. Along with the announcement was a screenshot. Rare made the announcement on Twitter, writing, "Crash site antics in today's new PD XBLA shot, can now confirm early 2010 release which is still 'winter', stop moaning." Via the Rare Witch Project, we got a hold of some exclusive screenshots for Rare's Perfect Dark port for XBLA. It has an obviously different art style than the original, and, in my opinion, the graphics appear less than spectacular. There's no telling how old these images actually are, but decide for yourself, like the new look or not? (Apologies for the low-resolution screenshots, but it's all we have).
