Blend Games came across some concept art for EA's multiplayer take on Mercenaries, Mercs Inc. It's currently being developed by remaining Pandemic Studio staff members at EA Los Angeles. The art was found in Pandemic Studios artist Tony Ianiro's portfolio.
"This is an example of my level thumbnail process I used for Merc's Inc," wrote Ianiro. "The look of the game was 'very realistic.' I was asked to come up with Level Ideas. These take me about two to three hours to complete. They are just trying to get across what that level would look and feel like."

Game Informer accidentally leaked a piece of Halo: Reach background art with a placeholder article dated for January 9th. It was quickly removed from the website, but the artwork is still available for viewing (see above -- click for full size). It's pretty likely that Reach will be featured on the next cover of the magazine.

Project V-13 Concept Art
Interplay, developer of games such as Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics, has released to the public its latest in a long string of concept art for their ongoing project, Project V-13, the unannounced Fallout MMO. The newest addition to the bunch is called "Frozen Shipyard" and depicts an icy scene of maritime carnage, reminiscent of the ending of Titanic. As usual, Interplay gives no background information or explanation as to why any of this happened, and still leaves viewers of the art thinking "What happened here?" Concept artist Serg Souleiman included this along with the picture in the Interplay forums.

After seeing the cover of the next Game Informer today, some more art for Dead Space 2 was found online from the magazine. The image, seen above, doesn't show too much other than a vast, rocky planet being mined with a Marker next to a big canyon. What, you forgot? Isaac was an engineer working on a mining ship before all hell broke loose.
