Darksiders released today, and Hollywood is already looking to do a movie based off the game, according to Vigil Games' Joe Madureira in an interview with VG247. "We've gotten some interest from Hollywood. We've talked about doing a comic series. At least a couple of those things have to happen, I'm sure."
Madureira also clarified that its THQ handling the outside work. "It's really a THQ thing, but I know they are definitely talking to people and I would be surprised if some of that stuff didn't happen."
It sounds like we're almost guaranteed we're going to see Darksiders on some other type of medium. Movies? Comics? Who knows. Let's just hope the swords are as big as Madureira's mouth.
