The PlayStation Blog just confirmed the US release date for the hotly anticipated God of War III. It will be hitting shelves Tuesday, March 16. Sony also unveiled the official US box art for their PS3 exclusive, seen after the break.
On February 11, Spike's GameTrailers TV will be debuting a new God of War III trailer, so be sure to tune in to that.
A European release date for the game has not yet been announced, however, SCEE confirmed to VG247 that an EU date will be announced on the EU PS Blog at 6pm GMT. That said, Sony has said that they are "aiming" for a March 19 release in Europe.
