Valve just announced that Bioshock 2, set for release on February 9th, will release on their Steam download service. While wholly boring in itself, they also stated that anyone who purchases Bioshock 2 will get the original Bioshock free with the purchase on Steam. Current owners of Bioshock can gift their copy, or have two like the greedy bastards they are.
Not only that, pre-orders get 10% off their purchase price on Bioshock 2. So not only do you get one free excellent game with a potentially awesome new sequel, you also get it for $45 instead of $50. Sure, there's no collectors edition, but this is the best deal we've seen on Steam since New Years.
