As you know, the PC beta (and Xbox 360 demo) for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 released late last week. I have been thoroughly impressed by it. In my preview, I noted that the graphics were quite impressive, but according to DICE, Bad Company 2 will look even better when it releases March 2.
"The 'high' texture detail level isn't implemented in #BFBC PC beta," tweeted DICE rendering architect Johan Andersson. "Is in the final release so will be a bit sharper."
This means we can expect even more detailed textures in the full release. Andersson has also noted that the final build will be getting quite a bit of optimization, meaning the frame rate will be tightened up.

besides them adding a story to battlefield and bc1 being terrible bc2 brought back a lot of battlefield traits its awesome DEFIB deaths all the way

BN, BC 1 was a good game, well, the single player is really fun and the characters are funny and likable.
there were a few caveats like the abilities of enemy characters (took alot of hits to kill, are sharpshooters at 2 miles away)
but besides that the game was fun and memorable.

“I noted that the graphics were quite impressive,”
you have a bad taste!
From my experience in the BETA for ps3. The graphics looks MUCH better than the Xbox 360 demo.
Now if this game will be released, it should rival Uncharted 2!

Uh, maybe on consoles, but I don’t play it on Xbox 360 or PS3. Try it on a nice PC rig. It looks pretty damn nice.
