Devolver Digital, the developer behind Serious Sam HD, announced that it is bringing deathmatch, dedicated servers, and recording to The First Encounter, which recently released on Steam (and is coming out in early 2010 for XBLA). The announcement was made on the company's Twitter, which said, "Rad updates coming to Serious Sam HD in the next few weeks. Recording, demo, dedicated servers and...wait for it...deathmatch. Stay tuned...." Yes, there's also apparently a demo coming out for the game.

This is great news. Serious Sam HD is already awesome, so adding deathmatch makes it all the more awesome.
