You may not have known it, but your DS, the thing you play games with, is also a flute -- correction: spirit pipe. No, that's not some tribal drug paraphernalia, it's an instrument, and it will be utilized in Zelda: Spirit Tracks. You'll be able to use your DS microphone and stylus to help Link to play the spirit pipes in his new adventure.
You use the pipes to summon special powers, and to play them, you blow into the DS microphone while cycling through different coloured pipes with the stylus. Before you're able to visit a temple, you have to search for a guardian called the Lokomos, who will teach you a song which restores the tracks to the temple. You'll then be required to listen to the metronome to keep to the rhythm.
Spirit Tracks will be releasing on December 11 for Nintendo DS.
